True marital happiness includes spiritual intimacy, with God and with each other.
The Toronto Sector is pleased to invite any couples in Canada Central Area to a Teams of Our Lady Retreat, which will be held on the weekend of Friday, February 27th to Sunday, March 1st, 2026 at the Valley of the Mother of God Retreat Centre in Orangeville, Ontario.
We also warmly welcome Catholic married couples who are not yet part of Teams, but who are interested in the charism of Teams of Our Lady.
Retreat Program for Couples
The main retreat program is for Couples in Teams or interested in Teams, and is intended to fulfill the Annual Retreat Endeavour in the manner prescribed by Fr. Caffarel (overnight, two days, deepening our practice of the Endeavours and reception of the Sacraments). The theme and content of the retreat are being developed by a Retreat Team from the Toronto Sector, in consultation with the Toronto Sector Couple and Spiritual Counsellor(s).
Any Spiritual Counsellors interested in participating in the retreat, whether for Liturgies, Conferences, or Confessions, should reach out to the retreat team Lead Couple: Marta & Nicolas Pappalardo – Toronto Team IV.
Childcare Program
For couples unable to secure childcare for the weekend, there will be an opportunity to bring children for the duration of the retreat. Children will be accommodated with their parents for sleeping, but will benefit from a separate program, to be developed by volunteers based on the ages and number of children. This will allow parents the opportunity to benefit fully from the Couples’ program in tranquillity, and for the children to have fun and form friendships in a faith environment.
