Welcome to Edmonton Sector A
Teams of Our Lady has been present in Alberta since 2000 when Father Augusto Garcia began meeting with couples in Edmonton who were looking to grow and deepen in their Catholic Faith and live more fully the sacrament of marriage. The first Team was formed in Edmonton by 6 couples. Through the generosity, testimony, and service of these as well as many couples who have since joined, the Edmonton Sector has grown to over 170 members representing 17 teams in English, Spanish, Portuguese and Polish and is split into Sectors A, B, and C.
Part of Canada West, Edmonton Sector A includes five teams and three Spiritual Counsellors in Edmonton and Fort McMurray, Alberta. Sector A features Teams in four different language groups:
- Our Lady of Life (Spanish) – 3 couples
- Our Lady of Fatima (Portuguese) – 3 couples
- Mary, Mother of Mercy – Fort McMurray (English) – 4 couples
- Our Lady of Mercy – Edmonton (English) – 3 couples
- Our Lady Queen of Poland (Polish) – 3 couples
About the Sector Couple
Piedad and Enrique have been married 20 years and have two boys, ages 15 and 11. They joined Teams of Our Lady in 2008. Members of the Our Lady of Fatima Portuguese team, they became the Sector Couple in 2020.

Teams of Our Lady have provided excellent tools for us to be more vigilant and generous to each other. It has helped us to spiritually grow as a couple and as a family and to acknowledge the presence of Christ and our Holy Mother in our sacrament of marriage.
